OAKLAND, CA — The office of California Attorney General Rob Bonta has announced the felony conviction of Sirron Croskey for multiple felony charges.

According to the press release issued Friday, Croskey pled guilty to multiple felony charges for armed robbery, reckless evading, and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm and was sentenced to 9 years and 8 months in State Prison.

Croskey targeted victims in casino parking lots across Contra Costa, Alameda, Santa Clara, and Napa counties, using a loaded firearm to commit several robberies, the Attorney General’s office said.

After his final robbery in Napa County, Croskey attempted to flee law enforcement in a high-speed car chase but eventually abandoned the car and weapon, fleeing on foot, the press release stated.

“Californians deserve to live their lives free from the shadow of violence,” said Attorney General Bonta. “I am immensely proud of my team for their unwavering commitment to justice and for ensuring that those who violate the law are held responsible. When we work together, we get results that create a safer and more secure California for everyone.”

Croskey was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $9,855 to seven different victims.
