Casino and Hotel in Bossier City will shine bright in red letters when it is installed on Thursday afternoon.This marks the first land-based casino in northwest Louisiana. Casinos have operated as boats in Louisiana since 1990. Governor John Bel Edwards approved a state bill in 2018 to allow operations to move onto land. They said to get ready for the best vibes in town.“This is the beginning of a new era in northwest Louisiana, and we are so excited to be a part of this community. We’re really excited and hope people are ready to go live in 2025!” said Joshua Robinson, vice president of marketing.Live!
